What actually happens when you save a link

You click Save

From the Chrome extension on any page. Add an optional note ("for the Q4 pitch") - notes are encrypted and unreadable by us.

AI reads the page

Within seconds, AI writes a short summary and 5-15 specific tags. The text is also converted into a semantic fingerprint - a mathematical map of what the page means.

Content is discarded

Once tagging is done, the page content is permanently deleted from our systems. We keep the reference, the tags, and the fingerprint. Not the page.

You search like a human

"That video where someone explained pricing tiers with a gym analogy." Exact keyword matches rank first; semantic matches by meaning fill in the rest.

We keep

The URL, title, AI summary, tags, and the semantic fingerprint. That's what makes search work.

We never keep

Full page content (processed, then permanently discarded), your browsing history, or anything you didn't explicitly save.

You control your notes

When you add a note, the note itself is always encrypted and never stored as plain text. By default, the specific terms you type (like a name) are pulled out and saved as searchable tags, so you can find the save later. Want a note kept fully private? Turn off 'searchable note' on that save. It stays encrypted, with nothing pulled out.
